Just Keep Dancing – A Video Blog
Today is the seventh day of Passover and the seventy-fifth anniversary of the liberation from Bergen-Belsen.
This day is a celebration of song and dancing — dancing on the other side of the sea in the book of Exodus and dancing on the other side of the sea of the Holocaust.
So take time to dance today and take time to plan your dances for tomorrow – at weddings, at proms, and in celebration of our healthcare workers and simply in celebration of life. When a vaccine is created, I recommend a global day of dancing in honor of all of our healthcare workers, from those cleaning our hospitals to those working in ICUs.
The early 20th century Bohemian-Austrian poet and novelist, Rainer Maria Rilke, wrote:
Let everything happen to you
Beauty and terror,
Just keep going,
No feeling is final.
